INDIVIDUAL TEAM ROSTERS
Rosters will consist of 14 players and must include players from at least 2 (two) different teams:

  • 1 Catcher
  • 1 First Baseman
  • 1 Second Baseman
  • 1 Third Baseman
  • 1 Shortstop
  • 3 Outfielders
  • 4 Starting Pitchers
  • 2 Relief Pitchers

Players listed as pitchers in the game will not have any appearances as a hitter count towards their one day game statistics and players listed as hitters will not have any appearances as a pitcher count towards their one day game statistics.

FACTORS
A total of 3 (three) factors must be assigned to each team as follows:

  • 1 "2x" factor to any Hitter
  • 1 "3x" factor to any Hitter
  • 1 "2x" factor to any Pitcher

Each factor assigned will act as a multiplier for that individual Hitter or Pitcher. Players assigned a factor will have their raw point totals multiplied by the assigned factor value to calculate their final point total. Negative point totals will count against the final score.

Each factor assigned will act as a multiplier for that individual Hitter or Pitcher. Players assigned a factor will have their raw point totals multiplied by the assigned factor value to calculate their final point total. Negative point totals will count against the final score.

POSITION ELIGIBILITY
Hitters:At the start of each season, hitters will get to be used at any position they played the previous season if they played 10 (ten) games at that particular position. Once a player accumulates 10 (ten) games at a new or unlisted position, he will be deemed eligible to play that position.
Players who have not played at least 10 (ten) games at any given position prior to the MLB All-Star game, will lose that position eligibility with no regard to the prior season.
Pitchers:At the sole discretion of Fantasy Factor, the designations of Starting Pitcher (SP) and Relief Pitcher (RP) can change on any given day of the baseball season. Changes will be made based on the current role of stated pitcher as ascertained by Fantasy Factor.

TRADES, FREE AGENT, AND BENCH PLAYERS
Since you only select players for a single series of games or events, there is no trading of players, no free agent pick-up's, or bench players involved in THE CONTESTS.

GAME CANCELLATIONS AND POSTPONEMENTS
In the event that a scheduled game is canceled, preempted, or postponed for any reason, no points will be awarded for players in the canceled, preempted, or postponed game or event. It is the user's responsibility to be aware of possible postponements or cancellations and adjust their teams as required prior to the start of THE CONTEST.

SPECIAL BASEBALL RULES
Suspended or Shortened Games: Fantasy Factor uses official MLB statistics as provided by The Sports Network and includes all games that MLB deems to be official and complete. If MLB declares a game "suspended" then the statistics that are generated the day the game is originally scheduled will be used. Any statistics generated on a later date when the game is completed will not be included due to the one day nature of our games.
Baseball Doubleheaders: In no instance will we ever score both games as a single score for an individual player. Fantasy Factor creates contests based on the starting times for MLB games. We refer to them as "early" or "late". When a doubleheader is scheduled well in advance, Fantasy Factor, at its sole discretion, will list either game, or both games, based on the scheduled time for those particular games.
When a doubleheader is a result of a recent postponed game the day or two before, only the originally scheduled game will be used as a Fantasy Factor contest has most likely already been created for that MLB game and customers may have already created a contest entry for that game. The originally scheduled game can wind up being either game of the DH.

ROSTER DEADLINES
CONTESTS will close approximately five minutes before the start of the first game included in THE CONTEST. You can edit your roster as many times as you like before THE CONTEST closing time, but all rosters are set and final and can not be changed after a game locks.

LIVE SCORING
Baseball CONTESTS that offer live scoring and standings updates are strictly for the enjoyment of our users. However they are not official and are for informational purposes only. Official scores and results will be posted at the conclusion of THE CONTEST.
