Fantasy Factor is an Easy DFS Site for the Average Player
When looking to join a daily fantasy sports (DFS) site, sometimes the options can be overwhelming. Knowing where to begin and the right place for you is not an easy decision to make. But the people at Fantasy Factor have developed a great option that is perfect for beginners and veterans in the daily fantasy sports arena.
First of all, Fantasy Factor is the only DFS website with exclusively single-entry contests, which gives everyone the same chances of winning.
What I love the most about Fantasy Factor is that it gives me exactly what I need, and doesn’t try to be something that it’s not. They only offer contests for the four major American sports in the NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL.
This is perfect for someone like me who just wants to play the major sports and doesn’t want to worry about all the clutter that sites like Fan Duel creates with so many options. Some might consider this a weakness for Fantasy Factor because they don’t offer more sports, but for the general player who just wants to play the major sports, this site is perfect.
It’s very easy to sign up on the Fantasy Factor website as you can use your Facebook or Google account to sign in. Then all you have to do is make a $10 minimum deposit to begin playing. You can deposit money using PayPal, credit card or even Bitcoin.
Fantasy Factor also has a promotion where they will give your $5 for a first-time deposit into your account.
You’ll quickly see that their website is very user friendly and easy to use for those who aren’t very familiar with daily fantasy sports websites.
You can filter the lobby by each sport and price of the contest to find the one that’s right for you. Each contest does have a limited number of entries, so make sure you enter the contest early. However, very rarely do I see contests maxed out before the day it starts.
They also offer free contests for those looking to just get their feet wet and get a feel for how the daily fantasy sports game works.
An email will be sent to you letting you know when your contest is starting. I do wish this email was sent a little sooner as a reminder to review your lineups before the contest starts. But they do also send you an email if one of your players is marked as injured before the contest starts, which is really nice.
You can keep up with all of your contests from the My Contests tab. From there you can track your team’s progress with live scoring and see exactly where you stand against other players. Sometimes it might take a minute for the scoring to update. After one contest ended it showed me in first, but a few minutes later it dropped me back to second.
But, not long after the contest is over you’ll be able to see your winnings in your account. Then you can withdrawal your funds – assuming you meet the $10 minimum for a withdrawal.
I honestly love the simplicity of this website. My biggest fear with playing DFS is getting overwhelmed with all of the different options and sports. With Fantasy Factor, I know exactly what I want and where to play.
The one area of weakness compared to Fan Duel is that they don’t offer a mobile app. However, I mostly play Fantasy Factor from my iPad and it works perfectly.
If you’re looking for a cluttered DFS site with a variety options, then Fantasy Factor might not be the best DFS site for you. But for the general player that just wants to have a fun, easy experience playing daily fantasy sports, Fantasy Factor is the perfect site for you.
